Hello i got low "hematocrit" in my blood test what should i do? is it risky? br, vered

A doctor has provided 1 answer

How low?: All laboratory results need to be interpreted in the clinical context and the doctor who ordered the tests is usually in the best position to do that. Having said that, it is likely that you are deficient in iron. However to cover other bases also, you should take oral iron supplement and a multivitamin pill daily for about a year. You may take more than one iron pill daily, take it with meals.
