Probable taste buds: These are probably taste buds and should be there. It is always good to check with your dentist to be sure they are normal. They should appear the same on both sides of your tongue.

Tongue bumps: Most likely these are just taste buds-you have 3 different kinds of taste buds and there are larger ones in the back of the tongue. As long as they don't hurt, its usually not anything to worry about but if they have changed in size or appearance it's best to have someone look at the bumps.
