See Allergist/ENT: There are several reasons: (1)something is obstructing the sinus drainage causing recurrence of infections (hay fever is a common cause (2)The antibiotic used might not have been the right one or taken long enough. (3) The presence of an immune defect Rec: an allergy/immunology consult.
