Diabetes: At 22 you could have type 1 diabetes but sometimes it is type 2. Type 1 won't go away until new technologies come into effect over 10-15 years. With borderline c-peptide you may be fine soon if you work hard on blood sugar control. Depends on your eating and exercise goals.

Low carb/low sugar diet for many years. Very fit, active& not overweight. 2 consecutive morning blood tests showed mildly elevated fasting glucose (101 & 102), but non-fasted glucose is lower somehow & A1C is great (4.4%). Concerning for prediabetes?
