I don't know what ..: ..a swein is, but there is some information about braiding & hair loss. Perhaps a swein is when artificial hair is weaved in? This would increase the tension & traction on the hair, and, it is reported, can lead to scarring hair loss. Injectable steroids or creams are potential treatments, but with unpredictable results. You need to work with a dermatologist; hair transplant may be considered.
