I had a normal period january 3-7th. husband and i are ttc. jan 18th i started with bright red bleeding. not just spotting. should i be worried?

Depends: If you are bleeding greater than a maxi pad for 2 hours, or if bleeding is associated with lightheadedness, dizziness, shortness of breath, nausea or vomitting then I woudl see a physician ASAP. Otherwise you can wait it out and see what happens. There are many potential causes of bleeding/spotting. Implantation bleeding early in pregnancy can be a cause, but only time will tell
