I am trying to conceive and my cycle is due tomorrow but today i took a ovulation test and it came out positive what does that mean? and are you suppose to be ovulating a day before period

No: I would recheck with first morning urine (higher level of hormone then and makes test more accurate) Can have false positive result. If your cycles are very regular then you should not be ovulating now. If your period does not start when it should then it becomes more difficult to predict when you ovulate. Question- if your cycles are regular why are you doing ovulation test now? Good luck.
