Drug interactions sotalol, sertraline & amiodarone ?

Adverse effects: Significant QT prolongation. Symptoms need immediate evaluation may indicate torsade de pointes, eletrolyte abnormalities. Combination of multiple drugs that prolong QT interval is not advisable. needto check magnessium and potassuim levels.

Amiodarone : We don't like to use Amiodarone with sotalol since they both prolong QT and under same class for consult www.healthtap.com/volkantuzcu

Drug interactions.: Yes, there can be significant drug interactions as previously reported. Amiodarone can interact with sotalol. Amiodarone can interact with sertraline & sotalol can interact with sertraline. These combinations could cause a serious heart rhythm disturbance.
