See your surgeon: likely a thrombosis branch varicosity or channel. May need Duplex ultrasound to image. Bruising and swelling in channel of vein surgery may also be palpable.

This could cause the feeling of a lump in the area. You should follow up with your treating physician and a venous ultrasound would help to make a diagnosis.
