Nerve discomfort: Sometimes, shingles (a reactivation of chicken pox) can cause nerve pain which can radiate around from the back to the front of the chest. Other causes can be muscle tightness from exercise, or an issue inside, either with the lining of the lung (called pleurisy) or the lung itself. If your symptoms continue, see your physician.
