Waterbag: Early in pregnancy the walls of the waterbag are not as closely attached to the wall of the womb as they are lateron. On ultrasound the shadow of part of the waterbed is seen with fluid between the waterbed and the wall of the womb, creating an image of septation. This issue vanishes as pregnancy progresses.
