This is serious: The most important thing is that you understand that food choices are not the key to your recovering your health. Despite the "pop" stuff you'll find online, managing borderline diabetes (if you in fact have this), lipid problems, and the GI complaints you list requires far more effort on the part of yourself and your physician than finding mythical "superfoods". Serious exercise may be your key.
