Pain: It certainly could be IBD. I would see another physician And explain to him or her your concerns

2heads better than 1: There are many things other than IBD that can cause these symptoms. Second opinions are always an option and are usually appreciated by your regular physician. When you do get another opinion, bring test results and imaging studies. You do not want the other provider to be biased by prior opinions. Also the cardinal symptom of IBD (versus IBS) is weight loss. Symptom and food diaries find trends.
