Most likely: Yes, babies diagnosed with bronchomalacia tend to "outgrow" the issue as they grow (and their airways grow).

Airway growth: The airway will continue to grow with your son's growth. This lessens the effect of the bronchomalacia on his overall respiratory health. Sometimes in severe cases, if there is airway compromise and distress, surgical intervention is used. In most cases, the effected area reshapes and it is not a severe long term issue.
