Consults: 34 yo female with "6 bad disks" has inveterate back pain after "cleaning/bending" activities. An MRI and Orthopedic surgery consultation are indicated. Also a second opinion should be sought from an Osteopath with a skill set to rule out pain generation from a disordered sacroiliac joint, which is the cause of back pain in 13-30% of the universe of people with chronic low back pain.
