Can i have diverticulitis and ibs at the same time?

May be: Ibs is very generic term and is not actual infection. Diverticulitis is actual infection of diverticulum and is an emergency. This causes severe constant pain usually with fever chills nausea etc. This needs to b seen asap by ur doctor or er. People can have both at the same time but diverticulitis will overpower ibs symptoms.
