Stress?: I immediately wonder if you are under any stress at all? Do you ever notice this sensation occurring when you feel any tension or nervousness or even extreme fatigue? Do controlled deep breaths help? You may want to have your doctor examine this area because your thyroid is just beneath your Adam's apple and I would want to rule out something wrong going on there for sure. Best of luck.
