Current cold etc??: There is a large lymph system/branch on either side of the neck/jaw areas and they are like the garbage collectors of the body as well as other lymph node areas in the body. They can swell or feel swollen (tight) when a patient is going through a cold or has just at a cold, allergies ets. Ears full is a good indication that something systemic (system wise) is going on as well. I'd see you MD.
