Listen to your body: Is there a problem with your posture? Head and shoulders forward can cause neck pain. Tight muscles can be a problem. Magnesium oil topically can help. Alcohol and exposure to loud noise cause magnesium deficiency. Optimize life style by avoiding tobacco, alcohol, and junk food. Eat anti-inflammatory foods., keep blood sugar stable, BP stable, and move chin and shoulders in vertical circles.

Not related: You have a lot going on and i can only comment in general. Discomfort below the "adams apple" is not likely to be from the spine. The thyroid itself can hurt off and on with thyroiditis. There are specific blood tests for that. There are muscles and nerves in the neck that can be injured, stretched or irritated. No test will show that. Stick with your docs, avoid over examining and irritating it.
