It can be hard: Once out of the hospital, the main treatments of bedsores are to continue relief of pressure. The mattress is important but frequent turning is needed. Good nutrition is another key part of healing bedsores. The area needs to be kept dry and clean which is why the catheter and enemas but indwelling catheters have infection risks. Hope this helps!
