Partly: Anxiety and associated elevated stress hormones may contribute to heart palpations and premature heartbeats. Anxiety may also cause increased cardiac awareness which can, in turn, elevate stress hormones, Caffeine, decongestants and an inherent sensitivity to stress hormones may be contributing factors. I am reassured knowing that your cardiac evaluation is normal and you should be too!
