It is possible: Hello, Feeling worried and hopeless can certainly be symptoms of depression and/or anxiety. It would be best to talk with your parents and doctor about your concerns. Your doctor can recommend someone in your area who can do a more comprehensive evaluation. The first step to feeling better is to ask for help- these symptoms are very treatable with counseling and/or medication. Good Luck!

Treatment Works: You can have both. The label isn't as important as getting help. Treatment does work. You will benefit by therapy, medication or both. Feeling helpless is a signal that you should be talking to someone right away and getting treatment that will help you.
