Time: The delay may have been due to time constraints. These days, appointments are scheduled allowing only a certain amount of time based on what type of visit, i.e.preventive medicine vs. problem vs. procedure, has been scheduled. There is also the issue of reimbursement which is lower if a visit and procedure are done on the same day ( the wisdom of insurance companies). Hope this helps.
