i am having bad pain on left side when i cough or sneeze. it's been like this for a little over a month. what is this and do i need to see a doctor?

See doctor: You don't tell us your age, or where the pain is. On the left side of what? Chest? Head? Abdomen? Pelvis? If you have persistent chest pain on coughing or sneezing, see a doctor. Possibilities range from trivial (strained muscle) to annoying (fractured rib) to life-threatening (malignancy in rib or pleura).
