Can hepatitis a cause permanent liver damage? if your liver doesn't fail due to an acute infection, will it fully heal itself?

After...: After an acute hepatitis A infection your body develops antibodies against it and you become immune. Hepatitis A unlike hep B and C does not develop chronic infection after the initial phase.
