Joint aches and cold: It may be related to the change in barometric pressure - as the pressure drops in anticipation of bad weather your joints - actually the capsules around the joints swell - causing pain. check out http://wtop.com/news/2013/11/cold-weather-exacerbates-a-bodys-aches-and-pains/ just try to stay warm.
