Moderation: There is no contraindication to eating raw ginger, but too much of anything can be problematic. Excessive ginger can cause gut upset, diarrhea, and other symptoms.

Avoid excess: Agree w dr. Ho. Avoid excess. Ginger can help heartburn, menstrual cramps & migraine headaches. Ginger is excellent for upset stomach including nausea from motion sickness, menstruation, chemotherapy & morning sickness. It has an anti-inflammatory effect. It’s excellent for sxs of flu & the common cold.
