Get checked: I would advise you see your doctor. It's possible it could be a skin infection or bad acne but you may want to rule out something like chlamydia too. Either way, it's likely you may need some antibiotics, so I encourage you to go see your doctor. Best of luck to you.

Probably not serious: This is a common location for minor skin conditions like folliculitis, sebaceous cysts, pimples, and similar problems. Probably it's one of these. You don't say whether you are sexually active and at risk for STDs. But even if you are, no STD causes this sort of problem. See a doctor if it continues to drain, is painful, gets larger, or similar things appear in the same area.
