Either from gall: Bladder disease or from chronic pancreatitis from the blockage.

My ultrasound reported showed a gallstone in the common bile duct which is causing blockage. I've been told get ERCP soon as it is causing the bile to backup. I did not understand this, backup of bile in the liver or the gallbladder?
