Can adenomyosis be diagnosed only by tranvaginal ultrasound?

No,...: Adenomysosis can be suspected but not 100% diagnosed by ultrasound. Mri is more reliable. The only 100% accurate diagnosis is with surgical biopsy or removal.

See answer: Adenomyosis is most commonly suggested by endovaginal us, but MRI is often used for confirmatory diagnosis.
