Best to be seen: Many things can cause these symptoms and most are not serious; however, severe pain with swelling suggests an infection. This could be in the teeth, the sinus in the cheek, or even a viral infection. It sounds like you have some issues with your ears, sinuses and balance mechanisms, so go get a good history and exam!
