Why do i have a baby tooth at the age of 28?

No permanent tooth: Usually this is a result of congenitally missing or impacted adult teeth. See your dentist and have a xray to verify a missing adult toooth.

Baby tooth: Sometimes a permanent tooth that would replace a baby tooth doesn't develop so the baby tooth stays. Also, sometimes the permanent tooth is locked in the bone (impacted) and doesn't erupt so the baby tooth stays. Your dentist could take an x-ray to determine the exact cause. Some people live their whole life with some baby teeth.
