Depends: Endometrial hyperplasia alone (with no atypia) can be treated with Progesterone and repeat sampling for confriming resolution. If there is atypia then D&C is warranted to rule out cancer - even if nagative for a cancer, hysterectomy is the best treatment to prevent progression to an endometrial cancer if there is atypical endometrial hyperplasia.
