Contact : Impetigo is a contagious skin infection of the skin around the lips, usually with the classic "honey crust". Caused by streptococcus and now, just as likely, staphylococcus, it is treated by a doctor who will verify the diagnosis and give antibiotics, either systemic or topical.

Bacteria: Caused by a bacteria that can be transferred to your skin and get in through skin cracks to cause superficial infection. Usually readily responds to antibiotics. Soap and water and cleanliness are the environmental concerns.
