PCOD treatment: Unfortunately, there isn't a way to get rid of pcod/pcos. It is a syndrome that you may be able to manage the severity of the symptoms and their effects on your life and fertility. However, it isn't a disease you can cure. Still, managing the effects may minimize your need for intervention and aggressive treatment, especially if it is associated with being overweight.

? PCOS ?: If may be present in up to 30% of women. It is an Insulin resistant state that is characterized by weight gain, irregular or absent periods, hair growth, infertility and predisposition to diabetes. Diet, exercise and weight loss will help, as will metformin which can reduce Insulin resistance and regularize menses and even fertility.
