Examination: You need a thorough examination. It is good that you are negative for strep throat but you may have other issues from dental to medical pathologies and need an examination to diagnose your issues.

Oral Surgeon Evaluat: If strep test is negative, consider expanding your search for a diagnosis. By seeing an oral surgeon, a more complete exam of the intraoral cavity (including the teeth) can be completed. Also consider infection from impacted wisdom teeth.
