Unknown: I doubt that there are any studies looking at taking these two things together. It is always best to take synthroid (thyroxine) by itself, on an empty stomach, and wait at least 40 minutes before eating. Based on the ingredients in amberen, it does not look like it should be a problem if it is taken at a different time than the synthroid (thyroxine).

Yes, but why?: You can, but there is no scientific information every showing amberen is good for treating anything, except making the manufacturer wealthy. You don't know what's in it or what it's supposed to do for you. How do you tell if it's working? Don't get your medical information from friends, tv or the internet.
