Postural hypotension: When one bends or squats blood is trapped in the large veins of the thighs and pelvis. With rapid standing, if there is delayed return of blood from these veins there is a brief blood pressure drop with lightheadedness. This symptom could also be a manifestation of autonomic insufficiency so contact lmd if it continues.
