Yes: If you were poked hard enough to create bleeding, the injury should be evaluated. If there is loss of vision also, the sooner the better. If there is no change in vision and no severe pain, it can wait until tomorrow.

Injury to eye.: You should see an eye md if it feels bruised and has gone red. You may have a corneal abrasion, conjunctival laceration, open globe injury, hyphema, uveitis, or just a bruised eye. Regardless you should have it check out.
