Expected: Sun sensitive skin is one of the many known symptoms of lupus. Sun sensitivity is a diagnostic symptom. Wear spf 45 or greater whenever out in the sun.

DNA repair: This is a common featuer of lupus, though not all patients have it. The current best theory is that lupus patients cannot repair the minor dna damage from sun exposure as quickly / efficiently as they should.
