It depends: It's great that you're in remission after 3 cycles of chemo! you have a rare type of hodgkins with a good prognosis. I can only guess that your doctor is advising no radiation because you have responded so well to treatment, or because the radiation may cause more harm than good due to its location and/or your age. How about a 2nd opinion from a hodgkins expert? You have time to get one!
