It is unknown: The only intervention with a moderate amount of evidence is exercise. General priniciples for brain health include avoiding head injuries (and sports or activities associated with them), successfully managing any chronic health problems like diabetes and high blood pressure. A generalization is that if it is good for heart health, it is probably also good for your brain.
