Probably Curcumin: This question is hard to answer because of the need for more research, but at the moment i would say curcumin, derived from turmeric. Curcumin clearly has anti-alzheimer's properties but is poorly abosrbed; a patented form, meriva, is up to 28 times better absorbed but holds promise. Here's an approach.: Regarding vitamins, vit e with vit c may help. B complex vits may control homocysteine if sufficient folate (folic acid) ingested. Foods include red wine, cold water oily fish, coffee, mediterranean diet, curries, and perhaps Alpha lipoic acid, and n-acetyl cysteine. But a rigourous study on gingko showed no value, and the remainder of above is mainly anecdotal, but certainly potentially of value.
