Talk to surgeon: Four years after the surgery it is unlikely that a damaged nerve at the surgical site will regenerate. I would discuss this with your surgeon. However, I do not think that there are many options to help with this issue.

Nothing : Nerves can be damaged during surgery, which can lead to numbness. It happens no matter how careful or skilled the surgeon may be. It may get better, but may not. I know it may bug you, but don't worry. You'll eventually get used to it.
