What is the difference between food allergies and just food sensitivities?

Allergy: A food allergy is based on an allergic immune response where your body creates an antibody against that food and causes you to have hives, swelling, severe cramps and some case anaphylaxis. A food sensitivity varies in its symptoms and is not based on a specific immune response.
