Don't blow!: You are probably forcing air into the sinuses or increasing the blood pressure that distended the blood vessels inside the skull both of which can cause headache. Blowing can also force mucous back into the sinuses potentially increasing the risk of sinusitis. I recommend to sniff instead of blowing.
