Eating disorder?: It is difficult to say if you are emotionally disconnecting from food or having another problem. Please speak with an internist and explain your problem and see if he or she can get to the root of it. Don't try to solve the problem on your own. Food is too important to your health and well being to ignore even for a short time.

Acid or Pregnancy?: You could be pregnant. Look for period irregularity, breast tenderness/enlargement, weight gain, abdominal fullness, and nausea (including loos of appetite from the least little hint of food). Otherwise, a lesser possibility would be that you could have acid-overproduction irritating your stomach lining and causing you to lose your appetite. Try Tums (calcium carbonate) a few times and get a pregnancy test for starts.
