Not anxiety?: Both ocd and mdd have anxiety as a component. If your doctor is giving you medication for one or both of these, they should help with anxiety over time. Noise sensitivity is fairly common with ocd.

Misunderstanding?: Your "additional patient information" area shows you're taking sertraline, bupropion, and propanolol. Ocd is a type of anxiety disorder -- and sertraline is an ssri antidepressant with good antianxiety/anti- ocd properties. Propanolol can help with certain symptoms of anxiety too. I doubt that your doctor "didn't care" about your symptoms, but is trying to help. Please talk w/him about this.
