Tendinitis/osis: Fluid and inflammation of a tendon is tendinitis or tedinosis. These usually occurs when the tendon is overworked, either acutely or chronically.. Start with resting it. Antiinflammatories can help. If it persists, see a podiatrist. You may need an immobilizer boot, followed up by orthotics to settle things down.

Tendonopathy: An ankle brace, ice or even hot water soaks, antiinflammatories. Let the tendon rest, so don' t over exert yourself.
