Nerve entrapment can occur at the elbow (cubital tunnel syndrome) or median nerve in the forearm. Cervical nerves c6(thumb), c7(middle finger) , C8 (5th finger) have to be involved in the neck for the hand to go numb. Circulation problem of the hand or neuropathy.
